Live your life in this Cool Lego House

IKEA Housing Gateshead - BoKlok St James PR
The Ikea-town of flatpack housing, the first UK development using the innovative BoKlok (pronounced “Boo Clook”) homes is tackling the affordable housing problem.Gateshead is the site for the first UK development, a wholly owned subsidiary of affordable housing group Home. It has the exclusive licence to build the Scandinavian timber-framed BoKlok homes here and Gateshead Council’s decision to grant planning permission means building starts in June.

The BoKlok concept is to provide space-saving, functional homes offering good quality at a price which puts them within reach of households earning between £12,500 and £30,000 a year. Homes will be offered on a shared ownership, below market rent or outright sale basis, with legal agreements ensuring that buy-to-let will be actively discouraged.

Well Then are you ready to live in your own lego house ?
